The four Session 5 prompts

Copy and paste into any AI assistant. Fill in the brackets [ ] yourself.

5.1

The CV

Your notes, even in a jumble, are enough. It does the shape, the facts stay yours. Remove your address and phone number before pasting: it does not need them.

Here are my notes for my CV: [paste your notes: your jobs with the years, what you did there, your diplomas and training, your languages]. From these notes, write me a one-page CV, in [language], for this job: [paste the posting or describe the job]. Keep my words where you can. Do not invent any diploma, date or number. For my phone and email, write [to complete].

5.2

The outline

For any long document: a cover letter, a report, a presentation. You fix the outline, not the text: it is ten times faster.

I need to write [the document] for [who will read it], in [language]. Before writing, give me only the outline: the sections, in order, one line each. I will read your outline and fix it, then you write one section at a time, in my words.

5.3

What did you dress up?

In the same chat, right after the CV. Read its list, then reread yourself: what an AI says about its own work is not proof.

Compare this CV with my notes. List everything you added, changed or dressed up that I did not tell you: diplomas, dates, numbers, language level, duties.

Then the fix:

Remove everything I did not tell you. Where information is missing, write [to complete]. Change nothing else.

Then the four rereads, yourself:

  1. 1

Diplomas and titles: do I really hold this diploma, certificate, title?

  2. 2

    Dates: are these my years?

  3. 3

Numbers: where does this number come from?

  4. 4

Languages and duties: is this my real level, my real role?

5.4

The report

For the church, association or work meeting. Notes taken by hand, one clear page for those who were not there.

Here are my notes from [the meeting, the activity, the week] of [date]: [paste your notes]. Turn them into a one-page report, in [language], for [who will read it]: what happened, what was decided, who does what and by when. Keep my words. Add no fact, name or number. If information is missing, write [to complete].

The rule that goes with it: a CV, a report, a letter carry your name. Whatever AI adds, you are the one who signs it.

Health, money, law, papers: to understand, AI helps you very well. To decide, a qualified person.

Session 5 in one sentence: AI writes fast and well; but it is your name at the bottom of the page, so whatever it adds, you read line by line.

This week

Update your CV, then ask it what it dressed up

5.1 for your CV, 5.3 for what it added, then your four rereads.
